Thaya is on the panel of mediators of the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre of Arbitration (KLRCA) and the database of neutrals of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA). Thaya is also an SMC Associate Mediator at the Singapore Mediation Centre.

Thaya has experience of both court-annexed and private mediation. Thaya also has experience of mediations to resolve disputes arising from claims in contract and in tort.

Thaya is a member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Consultative Task Force on the Revision of the ADR Rules.
